We have been building on our key skills bank by learning through fun activities. We started November by looking at Bonfire night and the noises the fireworks make. We then moved on to having themed weeks where we learnt to count up in many different ways, we also connected our numbers to real life objects. Furthemore, during November we learnt lots of intresting nursery rhymes from Humpty Dumpty to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Our fabulous team at Skools Inn loved decorating the setting for each individual nursery rhyme. To finish November we looked at transport and all the different ways we can travel around! We have all had lots of fun in November and can't wait to get christmassy in December. <br/> </div> <div> <br/> </div> <div> <b> Afterschool Club </b> </div> <div> <b> <br/> </b> </div> <div> During November, we have been out in the community lots! We started November by looking at Bonfire Night and discussing how to stay safe during Bonfire Night. We then went on to visit many different local setting during November. We discovered lots and had lots of fun. Also, we have had an exciting month with our new preschoolers... <h3> September has been an exciting month for us all and we are so happy to see all of our new pre-schoolers and have breakfast club and after-school club after our summer break! </h3> <div data-rss-type="text"> <p> Preschoolers have had an exciting first month at Skools Inn. All of our preschoolers have been learning new routines, getting to know you and been to the post office to post a letter. Learning new routines is a major part of our preschoolers life as they get use to having certain topics or themes at certain times. Routines also help get our little ones get ready for when they move up. We have also been to the post office to post a letter to our key person! It was an exciting trip out... </p> <div> <br/> </div> <div> Breakfast club has been back open and we are so glad it is! With our self serve buffet the children have been building on there independence and making their own choices. </div> <div> <br/> </div> <div> Our After-school club has also been back open and we have been up to lots. We have transformed our role play area into a hospital following the current topic of Covid-19.
